Jatin Karani
Founder & Partner
Jatin has 20 years of experience spanning Private Equity & Venture Capital Investing in India and Financial Advisory Services across Indian and US markets. Prior to starting Samarthya, Jatin was part of the PE/VC investing team at Enam Holdings, a leading Indian Family Office based in Mumbai, India and was responsible for deal origination, evaluation and negotiation across Consumer, AgriTech, Media, Technology and FinTech sectors. At Samarthya, Jatin has led 15 investments in India and 2 investments in the US.
Dishita Prajapati
Investment Analyst
Fuelled by a deep interest in emerging markets and India's evolving innovation story, Dishita brings a finance-focused lens to early-stage investing at Samarthya.
She has previously worked with a startup and financial firms, including Paxika and Nuvama Wealth, gaining hands-on experience in research, growth strategy, and equity analysis.
Hridaya Zaveri
Investment Analyst
Hridaya is involved with deal sourcing, research, and portfolio strategy at Samarthya, bringing a strong foundation in economics and data-driven analysis to the team.
Previously, she held research and finance roles at EY India, Ipcon, and multiple policy-focused organizations. Her work has spanned public health data, equity markets, and global labor research.
Aditya Murali
Investment Analyst
With strong conviction in India's exploding business landscape in deep tech, Aditya is committed to identifying and supporting early-stage startups that can reshape Indian industries.
He has previously worked at Bain & Company and Apollo Tyres, gaining hands-on experience across consulting, business strategy, and manufacturing automation.
Karan Goshar
Co-Founder & Partner
Started his entrepreneurial journey at young age of nineteen with setting up a Cookie Manufacturing Unit for one of India’s largest FMCG players.
Later stints included setting up a services business to aid his family’s construction business which was a leading Project Management Consultancy company based out of Mumbai. He diversified into Sheet Metal Fabrication to Engineering Outfits and Packaging Manufacturing Units.
Kunal Sawant
Before joining Samarthya, Kunal was the founder of Neutron, a B2B platform designed to automate accounts receivable processes. Neutron has been instrumental in optimizing payment collections and enhancing customer experiences, thereby strengthening the financial robustness of various enterprises.
Prior to founding Neutron, Kunal worked as a Private Equity Associate at TresVista, collaborating with a global private equity firm with over $500 billion AUM, focusing primarily on their European deals, contributing to successful investments valued at approximately $4 billion.
